Woohoo! I can go back to doing it My way!

Very sad. If KC had to give up one of the two, I'd hope it would be Naumann. Finn has a lot of work yet to do with the loonies on the Missouri side, and of the two, he ought to be held back for a cardinateral see (which St. Louis should be, but that's another argument).Curmudgeonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16958570482046462392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30096810.post-9533465684695596052008-06-28T15:39:00.000-05:002008-06-28T15:39:00.000-05:00The St. Louis Catholics I know are just feeling a ...The St. Louis Catholics I know are just feeling a real hole in the hearts. I hope whoever the Bishop is will be a great one. I just live on the other side of the state I am sorry to see him leave Missouri.
Bishop speculation is always interesting to me. I didn't think (but I could be wrong) that they put Bishops in dioceses where they came from. I do have to admit that there are some great Bishops out there besides the ones in the Midwest. In doing some research on a different subject, it was exciting to find out about some of the Bishops around the country who were fighting good fights. Hopefully, while we have a way to go, things are looking better for the Church in America.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30096810.post-16152024648136844472008-06-27T22:06:00.000-05:002008-06-27T22:06:00.000-05:00We are priviledged to know Archbishop Burke, Bisho...We are priviledged to know Archbishop Burke, Bishop Naumann and Bishop Finn. I agree wholeheartedly with your column - they are indeed gentlemen - in manners and disposition. It is a shame that many Catholics familiarize themselves with their Bishops only through biased, secular media. May our Lord be with Archbishop Burke in his new service to the Church.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
